This method is applicable to residues from petroleum asphalt, polymer-modified asphalt, or diluted asphalt and emulsified asphalt.

The Vacuum Degassing Oven equipment consists of the PAV-1-1 Asphalt Pressure Aging Chamber and the PAV-1-2 Asphalt Aging Vacuum Chamber. The vacuum chamber is used to remove bubbles from asphalt before casting, using negative pressure at a specific temperature to squeeze out the bubbles.
