The Retroreflection Coefficient Tester is designed to measure the retroreflection coefficient (R') of traffic sign materials. It accurately reflects reflective performance at various angles, evaluating visibility and safety for nighttime or low-light conditions. It also ensures reflective material colors meet nighttime safety standards (CIE 1931xy).
The instrument features a built-in light sensor meeting CIE lighting standard "A". Using a silicon diode detector corrected by a filter, it matches the CIE standard photometric observer spectral luminous efficiency function V(λ). This non-destructive testing equipment complies with ISO 3864, CIE NO.54, ASTM, and DIN standards.
