High-Quality Digital display soil liquid plastic limit united device Manufacturer, Manufacturers

Liquid-Plastic Limit Combined Tester

The soil liquid plastic limit joint measuring instrument is an automated or semi-automatic instrument used to determine the liquid limit (LL) and plastic limit (PL) of fine-grained soils (such as clay and silt). By measuring these two key indicators, the plasticity index (PI=LL-PL) of the soil is calculated, which is used for soil classification (such as USCS, AASHTO classification) and engineering property evaluation.

Major function

Liquid limit determination: The cone penetration method (or disc apparatus method) is used to determine the moisture content of soil during the transition from liquid to plastic state.

Plastic limit determination: The water content of soil transitioning from plastic state to semi-solid state is determined using the rubbing method or combined determination method.

Automated calculation: Some models can directly output liquid limit, plastic limit, and plasticity index to reduce human error.

Product Description

Product Description

Determine the liquid limit, plastic limit, and shrinkage limit of fine-grained soil, classify soil types, and calculate the plasticity index for use in design institutes and construction. According to the different moisture contents of soil, Liquid Limit Tester can be divided into flowing state, plastic state, semi-solid state, and solid state.

This Soil Liquid And Plastic Limit United Device is suitable for particles with a particle size of less than 0.5mm and an organic matter content not exceeding 5% of the dry soil mass.

Fine grained soil transitions between flowing, plastic, semi-solid, and solid states due to moisture content variations. The device identifies the upper limit moisture content of fine-grained soil in a plastic state (liquid limit). The soil shrinkage limit apparatus determines the lower limit of water content for a plastic state, marking the boundary where volume no longer decreases during the transition from semi-solid to solid.
